STEALTH SKILL LIST

Novice Skills

Armor 1 – 2sp
Your character is able to wear up to 15 points of armor without penalty.

Backstab 1-2 – 15 sp
Pick a weapon in which you are skilled. From now on, when using this type of weapon, you deal an additional 2 normal damage when attacking an opponent in their back.

Craft: Toxin 1 – 6 sp
Your character knows how to use herbs and make them into minor concoctions of ill effect.

Craft: Trap 1 – 6 sp
Your character is skilled in crafting basic traps. You can also disarm basic traps.

Evasion 1 – 5sp
Your character knows how to pass through an area without leaving certain major signs of your passing, making it slightly harder for people to track you. You get +1 Evasion.

Florentine – 3 sp
Your character can wield a small weapon defensively in their off-hand while using a long weapon or shorter in their main hand. Your character cannot attack with this off-hand weapon.

Open Lock 1 – 2 sp
Your character has learned how to pick the most basic of locks.

[You must have spent 45 points in Stealth Skills and Universal Skills in order to buy into Apprentice Skills. Furthermore, you must spend 5sp in order to become an Apprentice level character.]

Apprentice Skills

Armor 2-3 – 2sp
Your character is able to wear an additional 15 armor without being hindered by it.

Backstab 3-4 – 15 sp
Pick a weapon in which you already have this skill. From now on, when using this type of weapon, you deal an additional 2 normal damage when attacking an opponent in their back for each rank in this skill.

Basic Maneuver Mastery – 5 sp (prereqs – Basic Maneuver Theory)
Your character has developed enough in the stealth arts to learn several special moves and abilities that make him/her a more dangerous combatant and a better rogue in general.

Basic Maneuver Theory – 10 sp (prereqs – Level 6 or higher)
This skill gives your character a special Knowledge: Basic Maneuver Theory packet. This packet contains details on advanced combat skills and abilities. This skill can be learned on your own but learning it with a teacher provides additional benefits.

Craft: Toxin 2 – 6 sp
Your character grows in skill and can create ever more powerful toxins with a greater range of effects.

Craft: Trap 2 – 6 sp
Your character produces more complex and more deadly traps. You also having a greater ability when it comes to disarming traps.

Disarm – 4 sp (prereqs – Weapon Skill)
Each purchase of this skill allows your character to call a ‘Disarm’ against opponents.

Dodge – 10 sp (prereqs – 3 Backstabs)
Your character gains 1 ‘natural’ dodge.

Evasion 2 – 5 sp
Your character grows more and more skilled in the art of passing without leaving traces. Each rank grants an additional +1 Evasion and makes you increasingly harder to track.

Open Lock 2 – 4 sp
Your character gains the skills required to open complex and difficult locks. Your ability to open weaker locks becomes faster.

Parry – 2 sp (prereqs - 2 Backstabs)
Each time this skill is bought, your character can call 1 ‘parry’ against any normal weapon strike. When this skill is used, the incoming weapon strike deals no damage to the character.

Track 1 – 5 sp
Your character has learned tracking techniques. You gain +1 Tracking and are able to track in harsher conditions with better results.

Waylay – 10 sp (prereqs – 2 Backstabs)
Your character knows that a good smack to the squishy backside of most creatures heads is sometimes more effective than trying to fight it out. You are skilled at attacking that spot and knocking opponents out.

[You must have spent 120 points in Stealth Skills and Universal Skills. Furthermore, you must spend 10sp in order to become an Adept level character and gain the ability to buy into Adept Skills.]

Adept Skills

Armor 4 – 2sp
Your character is able to wear an additional 15 armor without being hindered by it.

Pick a weapon in which you already have this skill. From now on, when using this type of weapon, you deal an additional 2 normal damage when attacking an opponent in their back for each rank in this skill.

Your character has developed even more in the stealth arts and can learn several special moves and abilities that make you a considerably more dangerous combatant and a much better rogue.

Standard Maneuver Theory – 15 sp (prereqs – Level 9 or Higher)
This skill gives your character a special Knowledge: Standard Maneuver Theory packet. This packet contains details on advanced combat skills and abilities. This skill can be learned on your own but learning it with a teacher provides additional benefits.

Track 2 – 5 sp
Your character has learned more advanced tracking techniques. You gain +1 Tracking and are able to track in harsher conditions with better results.

Vital Strike – 10 sp (prereqs – 3 Backstabs)
You know where to strike opponents so that your blow damages systems vital to life and/or function. This attack deals a base of 30 damage + 10 damage per Backstab + 5 damage per strength.

Ok tracking rank 1 is missing in the novice list here... which list should it be under? I see it under melee and stealth now. And it is marked a different levels.

Ok. Track was not supposed to be on Melee. Problem solved.

Track 1 is an Apprentice level skill. Track is on the Universal list and costs more points because anyone can learn how to track. People who know how to evade are better at learning how to track. That's why is starts a tier up but is cheaper in Stealth.
