A'Tul - The Beyond Empty

A Túl is a bit of an oddity in Mordavia. This forest surrounds and encompasses everything in Mordavia and is aptly known as "The beyond". This misty forest's secrets are believed to be older than the gods themselves. While not much is known about A Túl there are two things that are known for sure; many strange humans have been seen wandering out of the woods with no realization to where they are. These humans are often aprehended and sent to scholars and mystics for interrogation. Another of these oddities is venturing into the forest. Once travelers would venture into the wood they would become lost and eventually return to the fringe of the forest where they entered. Many mystics have ventured into the woods never to be seen again. Whether this is for prolonged study or even having become trapped within its mists we dont know, but what most do know is that a venture into the misty woods is not an intelligent course of action.

A'Tul - The Beyond Empty

Creeping doom... It bites with chill at your very bones. Heard in many the old wives tale is "The Fog", or "Creeping Doom". The legend is of mists that dislodge themselves from the mists of A Tul seeking their own desires and wants. They prefer to think of "The Fog" as an entity that feeds on feelings of lonliness and hopelessness. Others say that it is a load of nonsense that is spread by superstition (a common thing these days). Lost travelers are known to be subject to köd in most of the tales that have been told. For all of the stories about it, it has never been told that the mists have interacted with heavily populated areas or cities. The last told story of the fog has been spoken of around Vantoase about a local collector of alchemical reageants name Jerrel. He has not been seen or heard from since the story begun not but a year ago.
